Handcrafted Urns – Unique Artistry to Honor Loved Ones
At Afterall, we believe that honoring a loved one's life is a deeply personal experience. Our limited-edition Solstice Urns collection is crafted by skilled artists to create one-of-a-kind memorials, blending contemporary design with timeless beauty. These urns offer an elegant way to remember and celebrate a cherished life.
Solstice Urns are built on an ethos of modern simplicity and enduring beauty. Designed to be displayed, our limited edition urns merge design and craft to create objects of meaning; sophisticated vessels that celebrate the remarkable lives of your loved ones. We sourced our urns from makers in Portland, Oregon, who are passionate about their mediums of clay and glass. Afterall is proud to feature these new additions to our urn offerings in our Memorial Store.
1. Solstice Moon Urn – Inspired by the Beauty of the Full Moon
Echoing the full shape of the moon, the Moon Urn was created in collaboration with Portland, Oregon-based ceramicist Wil Labelle of Terra Noir Pottery. A minimal lid nestles gently into the larger body. The Moon Urn is twice-dipped in a soft white and glossy blue glaze combination, a soft white and glossy gray combination or a visually complex gray shino.

2. Solstice Halo Urn – An Hourglass Tribute to Cherished Memories
Named for the ring encircling its form, the Halo Urn was created in collaboration with artisan Lynn Read of Vitreluxe Glass. Inspired by an hourglass and referencing the passing of time, each Halo Urn is hand-blown and shaped in two pieces, then joined with a laser-cut metal halo. An opaque body and translucent top unite in a singularly beautiful presence.
