From our founding in 1920, Carter-Trent Funeral Home has made exceptional service and compassionate care our trademark. Our Church Hill facility combines comfort and convenience as a full-service funeral home for burial, cremation, memorials, veteran's funerals, and memorial keepsakes.

Carter-Trent works with local cemeteries to arrange a seamless transition of care, whether you choose traditional burial or permanent memorialization after cremation. The loss of my mother was unexpected. Carter-Trent has always served my family so I naturally chose them. As her death was unexpected, I had never planned a funeral nor had I thought about what planning one entails. David was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and guided me through the process.
