We have served the Woodbury community since 1951, when our founder, James A. McGuinness, opened our first funeral home. He knew the importance of families having a trustworthy, local funeral home to help them memorialize their lost loved ones and navigate grief. Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family.

McGuinnis was very respectful and caring during a challenging time. At the time it felt to me that there was a lot of things to juggle in a lot of areas, but they helped me stay on top of what needed to be done with respect to the funeral process.

Great experience again for the 3rd time, 12 years ago lost my brother, the service that was received was amazing, 5 years ago lost my mother was received another great service, 1 month ago lost my father was amazed again by the services we received again.
