We are grateful that families continue to choose us to honor their loved ones and organize funeral and cremation services in Sewell.

Death is a part of life. We often see it coming in the sick or elderly. Sometimes, we don't see it coming at all. However it comes, we never imagine it could happen to our children, especially a newborn who has her whole life ahead of her. Sadly, that is what happened to my wife and I. The loss of our baby girl is the most painful thing we have ever had to endure. Having to lay our daughter to rest is not something we could ever plan for, which is why we are grateful for Gianna and her team at McGuinness for helping us plan a lovely memorial service for our beautiful little girl. They went above and beyond, and even helped care for our two sons on the most difficult day of our lives. Their kindness and compassion throughout this whole process has been amazing. Thank you again. We truly appreciate everything you have done for us.

Recently supported my parents in pre-planning their end of life plans and we worked with Jessica, which was an exceptional experience! Jess was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and just so incredibly thorough in going through every detail, form an question we had. We all have peace of mind that when the time comes we know exactly what to expect, that my parents' wishes will be clear and followed, and that we were offered transparent information and a fair price as consumers. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Jess and her care, expertise, and amazing personality to any family who wishes to pre-plan or who needs support in an unexpected time of need/loss. She is the embodiment of who you would want alongside you at life's challenging moments.

McGuinness Funeral Home, especially Darrell and Karen, were so amazing while helping my family and I plan my mom's final goodbye. Rischard had met with my mom three years prior to help her plan her own funeral, and that experience was also wonderful. The entire experience put us all at ease and nothing was ever too much trouble for the McGuinness staff. My father passed away 21 years ago, and McGuinness was there to help us and add comfort during a very difficult time. Words cannot express the amount of appreciation we all have for this professional and compassionate team at McGuinness Funeral Home. The O'Reilly Family

June and July are months I will not forget. I lost my beloved son and mother in just a couple weeks time. The pain, grief and horror are still fresh in my mind and heart. The McGuiness staff, bless them. Darryl in Woodbury handled my son and Gianna in Sewell with both my mom and son. Nothing could have been more fitting, touching and beautiful. Everything from the initial pain to the closure at the grave were handled with love, kindness and respect. I can't thank you all enough. The chaplain Debbie is doing God's great work on Earth. Thank you!
