Following the sudden passing of my son, who had resided in MA, I was referred to Alice of the Betz funeral home. We requested that funeral services be held in Amsterdam, our hometown. Alice coordinated the transport and made all of the arrangements right through to a beautiful funeral service. She was supportive, compassionate, professional and always available by phone whenever we had questions or needed to make changes. From the time we called to the time we finished with the funeral the customer service was great. I was provided all the information we needed and my mother looked herself once prepared for viewing. All my questions were answered. I also received information after on what to do or even support group information. I would definitely recommend them.

The most difficult time of my life so far was saying goodbye to my mom with only 53 yrs old. Curtis made this process as smooth as possible, and the treatment was very calming, caring, and understanding. We received all the information needed and Curtis anticipated our needs even before asking, and kept the communication open even after hours. I recommend this funeral home 100%.
