With more than 100 years of history in Boise, Idaho, the Summers Funeral Home has built our reputation and earned the respect of the Treasure Valley community. Clyde E. Summers founded our company in 1911 when he partnered with P.L. Fry. The business passed through several partnerships and purchases over the years, but kept the continuity of a trusted business with a commitment to service.


When our team of professionals isn't working hard caring for the families we serve, they enjoy time with their families, community groups, and hobbies in and around Boise and Meridian. Whether camping, whitewater rafting, or fly-fishing, many of the staff take advantage of our area's natural wonders and are proud to call Idaho home.

Summer’s Funeral Home was everything I needed when my husband passed away. From the moment they came into my home to pick up my husband until the day I picked up the death certificates. When my father passed, he had his funeral plans set at Summer's Funeral Home. I was so impressed with their kindness and the way my father looked. He was shown dignity even in death. When my mother passed in February, I new exactly who I wanted for her, Summer's. I would highly recommend Summer's to everyone. They also sell funeral plans which my mother and father both had. It was nice to have all our ducks in a row during this difficult time.

Summers Funeral Homes have been very kind and helpful. They were able to efficiently handle all affairs and worked diligently with me as I traveled from Texas to Idaho to finalize my father’s wishes.
