A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building.
The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve.

- Price is for direct cremation with temporary urn and basic cremation container, and without visitation, formal services, or ceremony.
- Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff.
- Removal and transportation of your loved one to the funeral home (within a 30 mile radius of the funeral home).
- Care of your loved one until cremation is complete.
- Cremation process and return of ashes in a temporary urn.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
- All the necessary permits and authorizations.
- Free self-service online obituary.
- Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, scattering assistance, and more - at additional charge.

Burial Services Starting At

- Price is for burial with no visitation or formal services and ceremonies. Does not include casket, outer burial container, or cemetery costs.
- Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff;
- Removal of your loved one as well as transportation to the cemetery for burial (within a 30 mile radius of the funeral home).
- Care of your loved one until burial is complete.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
- All the necessary permits and authorizations.
- Free self-service online obituary.
- Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, police escort to the gravesite, and more - at additional charge.

Their team, especially Emily, was incredibly kind, sensitive, and reassuring throughout the process. I never once felt pressured or judged, even when I didn’t have all the information needed for the death certificate. They guided me with such care and respect, helping me find closure during the passing of my father. I’m especially grateful for how quickly they responded, handling everything, including the removal, with dignity and respect. Accent Funeral Home was more than great. Made sure that all things were covered. She even helped with contact of the prepaid burial site. I just picked their name from a list and glad I happened to pick their name. No disappointment.
