Our chapel’s history begins in 1964 when Charles and Lucy Flahiff opened our doors with the intention of providing the highest quality care to families in the Homedale community. Today, we continue to honor their mission by helping families remember and celebrate their lost loved ones and navigate grief.
The Homedale Chapel is Owyhee County’s only funeral home and an important part of our small but vibrant community. We serve all families and you can trust us to respect your wishes and design a service that aligns with your values and preferences.

- Price is for direct cremation with basic cremation container and without visitation, formal services, or ceremony.
- Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff.
- Removal and transportation of your loved one to the funeral home (within a 50 mile radius of the funeral home).
- Care of your loved one until cremation is complete.
- Cremation process and return of ashes in minimum urn.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
- All the necessary permits and authorizations.
- Free self-service online obituary.
- Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, scattering assistance, and more - at additional charge.
- Prices do not include merchandise, cash advances, filing fees, or death certificates. Please see complete price list for additional details and exclusions.
Burial Services Starting At
$2,605
- Price is for burial with no visitation or formal services and ceremonies. Does not include casket, outer burial container, or cemetery costs.
- Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff;
- Removal of your loved one as well as transportation to the cemetery for burial (within a 50 mile radius of the funeral home).
- Care of your loved one until burial is complete.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
- All the necessary permits and authorizations.
- Free self-service online obituary.
- Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, police escort to the gravesite, and more - at additional charge.

Our family was so glad to choose Flahiff Funeral. We had Emma E. Seminoff help us every step of the way to make this an amazing experience. Losing any family member of yours is never easy. But Emma was so loving and caring to make it the best. The viewing and video created with the music and portraits were amazing. We had many great compliments from friends and family.
