George W. Ammen, Jr. founded South Brevard Funeral Home in 1971 and was later joined by his son. In 2011 we changed our name to show our family commitment. Because of our long history in Brevard County, we feel that we are especially qualified to serve this community.

  • Price is for direct cremation with basic cremation container, and without visitation, formal services, or ceremony.
  • Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff.
  • Removal and local transportation of your loved one to the crematory (within our service area).
  • Care of your loved one until cremation is complete.
  • Cremation process and return of ashes. Urn and alternative container are not included.
  • Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
  • All the necessary permits and authorizations, plus one certified copy of the death certificate.
  • Free self-service online obituary.
  • Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, scattering assistance, and more - at additional charge.

Burial Services Starting At

  • Price is for burial with no visitation or formal services and ceremonies. Does not include casket, outer burial container, or cemetery costs.
  • Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff.
  • Removal of your loved one as well as local transportation to the cemetery for burial (within our service area).
  • Care of your loved one until burial is complete. Family not present with timing at the discretion of the funeral home.
  • Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
  • All the necessary permits and authorizations.
  • Free self-service online obituary.
  • Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, police escort to the gravesite, and more - at additional charge.

Ammen was there for us following the death of my father in 2019. We were impressed with them so much that we pre-arranged cremation services for my mother. She died at the end of the 2024. With all the arrangements in place, Ammen worked with us to quickly and easily do what needed to be done -- all with great care and sensitivity. We can't say enough about how great they were.
